For more than a decade, I've worked in the transportation industry from multiple perspectives—professional driver, school bus driver, driver recruiter, driver's license examiner, and content writer for an online CDL school. These experiences gave me a unique view of the challenges facing both drivers and the businesses that support them.
As a professional driver, I experienced firsthand the demands of the road and the importance of efficient communication, accurate records, and reliable processes. As a school bus driver, safety, compliance, and organization were critical every day. Later, as a driver recruiter and driver's license examiner, I worked behind the scenes helping drivers navigate hiring, training, licensing, and regulatory requirements.
While each role was different, one problem remained constant: the technology.
Across the industry, I saw offices relying on outdated software, disconnected systems, spreadsheets, paper files, and manual processes that consumed valuable time and created unnecessary frustration. Tasks that should have taken minutes often took hours. Information was difficult to find, data was entered multiple times, and teams spent more time managing paperwork than serving drivers and customers.
As a writer for an online CDL school, I also saw how difficult it was for organizations to keep training materials, compliance records, and operational information organized and accessible. The gap between modern technology and the transportation industry's day-to-day operations was impossible to ignore.
That's why I created Logistiq.
Logistiq was built with a simple goal: help transportation businesses work smarter by replacing outdated processes with modern, streamlined solutions. By improving organization, automating repetitive tasks, and making information easier to access, companies can save time, reduce errors, and focus on what matters most—keeping their operations moving.
My background in driving, recruiting, licensing, training, and education has shaped every aspect of Logistiq. I understand the challenges because I've lived them, and I'm passionate about creating tools that make life easier for the people who keep the transportation industry running.
